The most popular one would be YouTube. It is very easy to use and is full of comedy routines for your to study – heck anyone can post their videos on YouTube whether they are funny or not. And you will most likely have fun while you are doing it.
Internet information and rumors suggest there is a Green Hornet film in the works, with a possible casting of Jake Gyllenhaal as the main character. What would you suggest to the scriptwriters if you were given the opportunity?

Another thing you can do is visit your local comedy club or improv. While there are not as many comedy clubs at it as there used to be, did manage to that is that only the best comedians are getting good kids. This makes for great cheap night and being able to see one of your favorite comedian in your own town and at the same time supporting local businesses.

Classics to include are Strunk & White’s Elements of Style, Stephen King’s On Writing, and Anne Lamott’s Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life. Add a mini notebook or journal with a special pen or a small digital recorder to keep track of inspirational moments. Coffee is also a writer’s friend, so find a cute mug to add with a bag of beans. Look for a replica of Snoopy sitting on top of his doghouse with a typewriter, or other inspirational character.
